Industrial IoT Applications
High human input errors during data entry process in a mobile device.
Difficult to track Plant Maintenance records in paper format.
Real-time visibility was not available to senior management.
Keeping a record of each and every machine in a plant proved to be tedious.
Industrial IoT Applications – A smart ecosystem that simplifies the maintenance process and increases accuracy in record management with help of Digital Pen and Paper Solutions.
IoT-based App: A revolutionary IoT-based app that connects Plant Engineers, Maintenance officers, and senior management in real-time.
Smart eco-system: Industrial IoT Applications enable a transition from simple paper based maintenance records to smart records without changing the existing human behaviour. Simultaneously, digital pen and paper solutions assist in maintaining feedbacks and inputs from Sr Engineers.
Customisable for mobile and web: The app is compatible with Android phones & tablets with all features. It is available in a desktop web version to view the records in real-time.
Neebal assembled a team of industry experts, business analysts and content writers to survey and understand the pain areas to be addressed. The team researched multiple options to implement Digital Pen and Paper Solutions for 30 days.
Testing the focus group
Based on the requirements and solutions discussed, mockups with single process flows were created. These mockups helped the client in visualising the Digital Pen and Paper Solutions even before it was built. This helped those who were unaware of the workings of IT systems to give feedback and suggestions for further improvement.
Designing the solution
The solution architect created and introduced a configurable workflow based on defined rules and conditions. This Industrial IoT Applications workflow based on Digital Pen and Paper Solutions was scalable to meet the client’s ever-evolving business methods.
Launching the application
Post the client’s sign off on the workflow, the Industrial IoT Application was launched and tested for effectiveness and efficiency at client sites with a pilot run for Digital Pen and Paper Solutions in a supervised group of 100 participants.
